Engineered By Riders
Motorcycle gear engineered by riders
Balistex technology and its appliance in protective clothing
Its creation begins with a meticulous process that combines the expertise of engineers, designers and riders themselves. Our development team are constantly exploring new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods to push the boundaries of what’s possible in motorcycle apparel. Unique weaving and combination of new generation UltraHigh Molecular Weight Polyethylene, Spandex and polyester threads – is the result of meticulous development.
It is ultra-resistant to abrasion, tearing, cutting and UV rays.
Now days Balistex technology is go-to for protective motorcycle apparel, thanks to its exceptionally high durability, abrasion resistance and flexibility crafted with functionality in mind.
Highest possible performance
The Darmstadt impact abrasion test simulates the abrasion of motorcycle clothing on asphalt in accordance with standard EN 17092.
This test simulates the stress that is placed on the protective garments when worn by an average rider with a body mass of 75kg and a height of 1.75m when sliding from variable initial speeds to a standstill on a real concrete road surface.
To pass, no holes with an opening of 5mm or more in any direction are to be present on the layer closest to the body.
Safety can never be pushed too far
Motorcycle apparel needs to withstand the stresses and strains of dynamic movement, including sudden twists and turns. Balistex technology fabric undergoes tear strength testing to evaluate its ability to resist tearing and ripping under tension. This testing ensures that motorcycle apparel with Balistex remains intact and provides continuous protection, even during high-speed maneuvers or accidents. Six ‘trouser leg’ type specimens are taken from each garment’s material and are torn apart using a standard tensile test machine. Materials are being tested in two directions – warp and weft.
All our products made of Balistex are officially CE approved (EN 17092) and can withstand up to 70 meters slide distance or up to 7 seconds of slide time. High-performance protective gear does the hard work, so you can focus on what matters.

Never compromise on safety when it comes to motorcycle gear
Balistex technology represents a convergence of science, innovation, and sustainability. Due to Exceptionally high durability it is an investment in time – a single piece can easily last for many years. Balistex fabric technology, undergoes a battery of tests designed to push it to its limits and beyond. Various stress tests under different conditions have been run to determine the effective resistance of the material. It also doesn’t lose any of its strength when exposed to UV light, even for long periods. Frigid temperatures are also not a problem. But what truly sets Balistex apart is its exceptional performance under pressure.
